Diplomat Tailors was founded in 1987 with a single conviction — that the most powerful people in any room deserve clothing built entirely around them. For nearly four decades we have dressed managing partners, board members, founders, presidents and diplomats across Europe, the Middle East and beyond. We do not make clothes for everyone. We make clothes for those who understand that how you present yourself is inseparable from how you lead.
Every Diplomat Tailors garment is conceived in consultation with you — in Madrid, Geneva, Brussels, Monaco, or wherever your schedule demands — and crafted to exacting standards in our Hong Kong atelier. Hong Kong sits alongside Savile Row and Naples as one of the world's great tailoring capitals, combining Asian precision with the finest European cloth mills. The result is a garment that fits your body, reflects your taste, and endures.
We come to you. Our process begins with a private fitting at your office, your hotel, or your home. We guide you through cloth selection from the world's finest mills — Loro Piana, Scabal, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil. Your garment is then crafted and delivered within 4–6 weeks. Made-to-measure
services
Every commission begins with the man, not the measurements. Posture, proportion, the set of a shoulder, the way you actually wear a jacket through a working day — these decide the cut long before the cloth is chosen.
You direct the aesthetic yourself: jacket style, lapel width, pocket line, buttons and lining. We then take your measurements in full, along with the posture notes that separate a suit that fits from one that simply disappears on you.
Services
Made-to-measure tailoring, conducted entirely on your terms. We design the garment with you, cut it to your measurements, and refine it until the fit asks for no further attention.
Private fitting
We come to you — your office, your hotel, your home. Your stylist takes your measurements in full and walks you through the cloth: Loro Piana, Scabal, Holland & Sherry, Dormeuil. Together you settle the details that make the garment unmistakably yours.
Shipping
Your garments are cut and finished in our Hong Kong atelier and delivered to your door within 4–6 weeks. Urgent commissions can be accommodated on request.
Second fitting & alterations
Should adjustments be required, our local tailor makes them within one to two weeks. After a virtual fitting we ship the garment to you and review the fit together by video call; alterations can then be made by your own tailor at our cost, or the garment returned to us.
